We strongly suggest that you use Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 as the 2004 Charger Media Guide was designed for Acrobat Reader 7.0. If you do not have Acrobat Reader 7.0, you may upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat by opening up your version of Acrobat and clicking Help > Check for Updates Now…
You will then be prompted step-by-step on how to install 7.0 from there. If you do not have Acrobat at all, you may install the latest version of Acrobat by logging onto http://www.adobe.com/.
Simply eject the disc tray from your CD-ROM and insert your Charger Media Guide CD. Once inserted into the computer, it will automatically open the CD’s contents for you. If that does not happen, simply double-click on My Computer and right click on your CD-ROM drive (this will be indicated by a Chargers’ helmet icon) and select AutoPlay. Once the main menu appears, click on 2007 Media Guide.
You can navigate in Adobe PDF documents by paging through them or by using navigational tools such as bookmarks, thumbnail pages, and links. You can also retrace your steps through documents to return to where you started. If you would like to view a more in-depth help tutorial, click on Help > Adobe Reader Help or press F1.
Once the Adobe Reader Help window is open, click on the plus sign (+) right next to Looking at the Work Area.
Bookmarks provide a table of contents and usually represent the chapters and sections in a document. Bookmarks appear in the navigation pane. The creator of the Adobe PDF document determines which bookmarks appear.
Click the Bookmarks tab on the left side of the window, or choose View > Navigation Tabs > Bookmarks to display bookmarks. To jump to a topic using its bookmark, click the bookmark. Click the plus sign (+) next to a parent bookmark to expand it. Click the minus sign (-) next to a bookmark to hide its children.
Page thumbnails provide miniature previews of document pages. You can use thumbnails in the Pages tab to change the display of pages and to go to other pages. The red page view box in the page thumbnail indicates which area of the page appears. You can resize this box to change the zoom percentage.
Click the Pages tab on the left side of the window, or choose View > Navigation Tabs > Pages to display the Pages tab. To jump to another page, click on the page’s thumbnail.
In Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0, you may search any topic on the Chargers by clicking on binoculars icon located underneath the text menu.
Once clicked, a menu from the right side with slide out. If you do not see a binoculars icon or a search button, you may view it by clicking on View > Toolbars > File.
You may now search the whole Media Guide by entering your topic and clicking on the Search button.
You may print out a page by first selecting a page in your pages tab, then right clicking on it and selecting print pages. You may also print the page by going to File > Print as well. If you do not have a pages tab open, simply click on the tab marked with Pages to toggle it on or off.
Yes. In the icon menu, there is a disk icon with the text of Save a Copy. Click the save icon and save the Media Guide anywhere on your hard drive.
Select the Select tool from the icon menu and then select the text you wish to copy and then right-click and select copy to clipboard or simply press Ctrl+C. You may now paste the selected text to a word processor by pressing Ctrl+V.
