Rookie Minicamp Total Recap

Posted May 19, 2014

All the articles, videos, photos and behind-the-scenes access from the three-day rookie minicamp.

Chargers Park was buzzing over the weekend as the newest Bolts hit the field for rookie minicamp.  It was an important three-day event the rookies were looking forward to, so here are all the articles, videos, photos and behind-the-scenes access from the weekend.

It all started on Friday with the culmination of a lifelong dream for the rookies of donning an NFL uniform.  Still, they were cognizant that it was just the first step in a long process.

We profiled a number of players over the course of minicamp as well as the week leading up to it.  One of the most notable stories was the connection between Marion Grice and Alden Darby as the two went from college roommates to Chargers teammates.  They weren't the only pair of college teammates to reunite in San Diego as Chris Watt joined Manti Te'o in America's Finest City.  Number 50 gave Watt a tour of San Diego after he arrived.  This may not be Cordarro Law's first NFL rookie minicamp, but the outside linebacker is looking to make his mark with the Bolts after starring in the CFL. Meanwhile, tight end Michael Flacco aims to make his own name for himself while Iron Bowl hero Chris Davis is focused on being a Charger after authoring a signature play in college football history.

Friday was the only day open to the regular media, so a number of Chargers spoke at the podium.

The team was back in action on Saturday before wrapping things up on Sunday.

Although Tevin Reese was unable to be in attendance due to graduation, he spoke with Chargers.com prior to leaving.
