Week in Review: Jersey Changes and More

Here is your weekly roundup of what went down at Chargers Park this past week.

It was a relatively quiet week around Chargers Park this week, but there was still plenty of news regarding your favorite team.

The biggest story of the week was the Chargers announcing a trio of tweaks to the uniforms. Click here to read what those alterations are, and then view this photo gallery to see them for yourself.

On Monday, we highlighted on our blog ESPN’s rankings of the top linebackers in the AFC West.  The Chargers fared well, boasting four of the top 10.  Read all about it right here.

The team announced on Wednesday times for open training camp dates for the public, which you can find right here. The Bolts also continued to give back to the community, donating used equipment to Scripps Ranch High School.

The Chargers also were well represented aboard the USS Midway this week for a pair of events celebrating the 25th anniversary of the popular Madden video game. During Wednesday's skills competition, some of the greatest names in NFL history spoke with our own Jordan Beane.  Watch the videos below.

On Thursday, the EA Sports Madden NFL 14 Pigskin Pro-Am Powered by Gamestop took place aboard the USS Midway. The two teams were coached by Philip Rivers and Dwight Freeney, and you can learn more about it right here.  Then, watch the videos below.
