5,500 tickets available for Sunday’s Chargers-Bills game

Posted Dec 6, 2011

Approximately 5,500 tickets need to be sold by 1:15 pm PT Thursday, Dec. 8 to lift the local television blackout of Sunday’s game between the Chargers and the Buffalo Bills at Qualcomm Stadium.

The game kicks off at 1:15 pm.  Several hundred Club Seats – some of the best seats in the stadium – and a limited number of single-game Luxury Suites also are available.

Tickets may be purchased by logging onto www.CHARGERS.com, calling 1-800-745-3000 or visiting the Chargers Ticket Office located at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium.  The Chargers’ ticket office is open weekdays 8-5 pm and Saturday 10-4 pm.

If the blackout is lifted, the game will be seen in San Diego on KFMB-TV, Channel 8 and in Los Angeles and Orange County on KCBS-TV, Channel 2.  Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcotswill call the game from the booth.

Fans attending Sunday’s game can bring joy to local youngsters this holiday season by donating a new, unwrapped toy to the 22nd annual Chargers “Toys for Tots” Toy Drive, presented by Cymer. Toys and cash donations will be collected at the gates by service men and women from the United States Marine Corps. The toys will be distributed to deserving children throughout San Diego in time for the holidays through various charitable organizations. For more information about the Toy Drive or for additional locations where toys are being collected, log on to the official web site of the Toys for Tots Toy Drive, www.toysfortots.org/
