The game will be televised live nationally by the NFL Network. Kickoff is 5:20 pm PT. In addition, FOX 5 in San Diego will also carry the telecast.  The Chargers-Raiders game is the first on the NFL Network’s Thursday night schedule.

The Chargers expect another huge crowd on Thursday, just days after the team drew the third-largest crowd (68,908) in its history to the game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

The television ratings in San Diego for the Chargers-Packers game were the highest in recent memory.  The game drew a 38.9 rating and 62 share.  Translated, that means that 38.9% of the television households in the San Diego DMA were watching the game and 62% of televisions in use at that time were tuned to the game.

Several hundred Club seats, some of the best locations in the stadium, are still available to Thursday night’s game.  The Chargers’ ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium is open weekdays from 8-5 pm.  Tickets also can be purchased online at www.Chargers.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

Fans are reminded to be careful when purchasing tickets from secondary and unofficial ticket sources.  Several hundred fans were turned away at the stadium entrances Sunday before the Chargers-Packers game because they were holding fraudulent or counterfeit tickets.  Counterfeit tickets often look so real that fans don’t find the ticket has been duplicated or is counterfeit until they try to enter the stadium.
