Bio

Gera helps the coaching staff with scouting of opponents and film breakdown. He joined the Chargers in 2007 as a footall operations intern and began assisting the coaching staff prior to the start of the '07 season.

Gera helps the coaching staff with scouting of opponents and film breakdown. He joined the Chargers in 2007 as a footall operations intern and began assisting the coaching staff prior to the start of the '07 season.

Gera joined the Chargers after a four-year stint as a decorated Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, having served two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded a total of eight medals from the Marine Corps during his military career.

Gera was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Oakville High School in St. Louis, lettering in football, wrestling and track and field. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in English and a MBA from the sports business program at San Diego State University.

Gera is married to Stacey.
