Alexander played in eight games with two starts as a rookie, catching 20 passes for 306 yards and a touchdown. In his second season, Alexander appeared in 10 games, starting five, and caught 26 passes for 431 yards and a pair of scores. The Rams released him prior to the start of the 2012 season. In college, Alexander was a teammate of Chargers linebacker Andrew Gachkar.
