Bio

Wells joined the Chargers in 1996 after working 16 years for the A.G. Spanos organization. She joined the company in ’80 in Las Vegas and relocated to San Diego in ’87, assuming the duties of chief financial officer/property management.

Wells joined the Chargers in 1996 after working 16 years for the A.G. Spanos organization. She joined the company in ’80 in Las Vegas and relocated to San Diego in ’87, assuming the duties of chief financial officer/property management.

She graduated with a degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University in 1976 and a master’s in business administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, in ’82. A Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of CPAs, Wells garnered three years (1976-79) of public accounting experience with the firm Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co., in Decatur, Illinois.

She was born in Beardstown, Ill., and attended Rushville High School. Wells is single and resides in Coronado.
